Westside Track

We actually did this walk over three (short) separate days. Maiala picnic area is beautiful in the late afternoon, and the views out towards sunset from Western Window are just awesome, so we were compelled to visit three weekends in a row!

The entrance to the Westside Track looks like a porthole to some dark and evil woods

But inside the path is bright and green

We saw many wallabies. Rather than hopping off the
track this one just kept going further along as we
walked towards it

These fallen trees along the lower section looked pretty fresh.
I wonder if we were the first people to come across them

Mossy trees are Emily's favourite
